Hey, awesome person looking at my letter!

Sorry about this being super late, feel free to ignore everything in it, but here it is if you want some inspiration. As you can see below the prompts for the different pairings are either in block form or bullet point form. That’s not because I like one pairing over the other, it’s simply because I was a bit lazy and reused some prompts from earlier letters (the block prompts) and I wasn’t in the zone to write the remaining prompts a similar way (hence the bullets). Feel free to change prompts between pairings in a fandom, though, they’re all up for grabs.

If someone would give me an AU where Naruto is a princess and elopes with the boyfriend(/s) of choice, I’d probably die from happiness.

Basically I love everything Naruto, but it’s super ridiculous and feel free to toss out canon at any point (I’m definitely not picky).

These two are just really adorable! I love fics where Shikamaru tries to confess his love and getting tongue-tied to bits, no matter how old the characters are. And stories about different firsts of their relationship? First kiss, first time holding hands, first time on a date and so on. Shikamaru bringing Naruto home to his family is also wonderful. Or they could be on a mission where both of them are super protective of the other (or alternatively, trust each other so much they aren’t protective at all). Bottom-line is I want all the happy fics for them.

This pairing works very well with time related shenanigans, like Naruto being thrown into the past and stuff. Fics where Naruto has the biggest crush on one of his best friends dad are precious. Maybe Shikaku has a secret admirer? Or Naruto is an anbu that flirts with Shikaku in front of all their co-workers, and Shikaku is ribbed to hell and back for it? Maybe a fic where Naruto just has the biggest crush on Shikaku, getting all blushing and stuff, and Shikaku being a lil bit flattered and all of Naruto’s friends being very loud about it? Or a fic where Shikamaru of all people sets them up? If you want to keep the timeline as it is, this ship can definitely go angsty, but I’d like there to be some sort of closure and ending on a happy note, and please make sure not to make it too underage and creepy.

  • Sarutobi Asuma & Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto)
    • Asuma decides to raise Naruto partly to spite his dad, but then he gets dad feelings for real himself and totally dotes on Naruto or something.
    • Naruto finds out about his wind nature earlier and ends up getting extra lessons from Asuma because Asuma is a weak weak man and Naruto is adorable.
    • Introspective going on a mission together and ending up discussing lots of stuff (the burden of leadership, family, the sandaime, etc).
  • Sarutobi Asuma/Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto)

I love the ashtray that is Asuma, being strong and cool but also very much not cool because he and Konohamaru are very alike really. Maybe a fic where Asuma babysits a lot when he’s younger and Naruto kind of just grows on him like fungus? Or a fic where Naruto becomes his apprentice due to wind-shenanigans, and after the apprenticeship is done he just doesn’t leave? Maybe Naruto is a medic and Asuma keeps getting hurt on purpose? This is also a ship that works well with time shenanigan stuff. Maybe there’s a universe where Naruto is older and they go to the academy at the same time and are rivals in love? Maybe they’re on the same genin team?

Crack ship is cracky, but I have no shame. This is obviously made for time-travel, with Naruto going back and Tobirama going forth (but a case could also be made for ghost Tobirama haunting Naruto and being so judgy about everything that Naruto kind of wants to punch him). I love snarky fics, and enemies to friends to lovers and stuff like that. Maybe a fic where Tobirama is a being moody and pessimistic about all the things, and Naruto being more obnoxiously optimistic and happy-go-lucky in response? Maybe Naruto is a seal master from Uzushio? Maybe they get accidentally sealed together and a la handcuffed together style? Maybe they’re undercover on a mission? Maybe Naruto’s the anbu guard of Tobirama when he’s kage? Maybe Hashirama is trying to set them up?

Shisui is definitely the fun and carefree Uchiha, and he and Naruto get along like a house on fire, and I love them. Fics where either of them (or both of them) are crushing big time on the other, having a terrible time with it because it’s so embarrassing, are wonderful. Maybe Naruto is pranking Sasuke and gets help by Shisui? Or maybe Naruto rescues Shisui on a mission bridal style? Maybe Shisui sees a real pretty blonde walking down the street and tells everyone he knows about it? Maybe he’s an anbu and Naruto’s the kage and they’re super cheesy all the time everywhere? Maybe kid Naruto comes up to slightly older kid Shisui and tells him that they’re going to get married?

 

 

The Shannara Chronicles

Magic!Amberle

I’ve only watched the first season (should get on that), but I’m not bothered about potential spoilers. I just really liked these three characters and the world they reside in. (They’re really pretty… :P

So this TV-show did a Leia/Luke on me, in that I started shipping Ander/Amberle before I knew they were related, and then it was too late bc I still ship it (they’re just both so pretty and get along so well you can’t blame me). But yeah, it’s incest, so this has the potential to be very angsty. I’m all for angst, as long as there’s a happy ending, so go for it if you want. I imagine that soulmates would be fascinating with this pairing for many reasons, what would their family and the rest of the world think? What would they think? Would they run away to start life again in some other place where they aren’t known? For happier fics, maybe in a universe where the tree isn’t dying, Amberle runs away due to reasons (maybe an arranged marriage she doesn’t want?) and Ander runs after her, sobering up as he goes, and all around adventure shenanigans as he tries to catch up to her? Maybe a fic in a daemon verse where their familiars get along very very well, and are super affectionate, and how they react with that? Is there blushing? I dunno, I like all the things.

Young princess with her heart on her sleeve and an old magic person who is grave and moody and sleeps a lot (and also very pretty) is a trope in and of itself, and I love it. Maybe in one universe Amberle has the magic and becomes his apprentice? I imagine she’d be a little shit about it, needling him lots, and Allanon finding himself not minding it. Or she runs away due to reasons (maybe they were being extra sexist and she just decided she’d had enough and went off to adventure) and she stumbles upon sleeping Allanon whom she wakes somehow. No one knows how. But it’s not like he has anything better to do, and she’s related to people he knew, so. He ends up following her. Just to keep her sake. Not like he finds her cute and lovely and amusing at all. Allanon is definitely a stoic person. Maybe a fic with firsts? First kiss, fist time Amberle climbed him like a tree and snogged him stupid, or first time she introduced him as her lover? Imagine taking him home to see the family, after they’re done adventuring. That’d be a blast. Or canon verse, where the tree sends Amberle back in time instead? And she meets young Allanon, which is weird, because it’s a lot harder to take him seriously when his beard is kind of patchy looking.

 

Game of Thrones

(Also, as per what I wrote in my general DNWs, I’m not looking for Jon being underage and being together with someone much older. This can be solved through time-travel/time-loops, through not being creepy and the pair meeting later when Jon is older, through messing with canon and changing ages, or leaving it one-sided on the underage person’s part, or a number of other different ways I haven’t thought of. But yeah. Not underage person/adult person, plz.)

If you’d write the fic where Jon looks too much like Rhaegar and so gets locked up in a tower Rapunzel style, I’ll love you forever and probably give you my firstborn (especially if that’s a lady!Jon, cause that just hits all my buttons).

    • Arthur steals Jon away after he’s born and raises him.
    • Kingsguard Arthur finding himself looking after Rhaegar’s youngest more than any other royal.
    • Arthur followed Ned all the way up north to care for Jon and teach him what he needs to know to be a King.
  • Jaime Lannister & Jon Snow (GoT)
    • Age Swap AU – Jaime is Jon’s squire.
    • Jaime takes a liking to Jon and decides to teach him a few things. Somehow the boy doesn’t leave after that.
    • Kingsguard Jaime finds himself looking after Rhaegar’s youngest more than any other royal.
  • Jon Snow/Robb Stark (GoT)

I love these two dearly, and would like the R+L=J, cause that makes the incest a lil less iffy. Maybe a fic where Robb picks flowers for Jon (maybe getting “help” from his sisters)? Or a fic where they don’t grow up together, but meet anyhow? Maybe they know who the other is? Maybe they don’t? Maybe the AU where Lyanna and Rhaegar lives and they fall in love and can get married? Maybe the getting married story? Maybe the story of their first date? Or maybe Jory, of all people, sets them up? Or give me nervous teenagers with their first crushes not knowing how to express themselves?

I love them, they’re hot, I’m shallow. Jaime/Cersei can either have never happened, or be a thing of the past, but plz not at the same time as Jaime/Jon. Maybe give me a fic where Jaime is asking Jon out but due to reasons being antagonistic about it? Just needling Jon, who’s blushing, embarrassed, and really wanting to run Jaime through with his practice sword already? Or maybe an age reversal where Jaime is Jon’s squire? Or he isn’t, but just has the biggest crush ever on Kingsguard Jon, coolest of cool knights ever? This ship would work superbly with time shenanigans, also.

  • Arthur Dayne/Jon Snow (GoT)
    • Jon travels back in time (accidentally) and kidnaps himself (accidentally) and then there’s this Arthur guy who won’t leave Jon alone (he’s pretty sure that’s not an accident but whatever).
    • Reincarnated and remembering it Arthur stumbles upon Jon and realises this is Rhaegar’s last living son and decides to make him king (and also maybe make out with him a lot, but he didn’t mean to do that part to begin with).
    • Jon is a dragon and he takes an interest in Arthur the Very Shiny Knight. Arthur is confused.
  • Oberyn Martell/Jon Snow (GoT)

My crack ship that I love dearly. It works splendidly with time shenanigans, too, and makes the ages a lil less creepy. So maybe a fic where Jon goes back in time and Oberyn goes full on courting style? Or maybe a fic where Oberyn decides the only way to get vengeance is to marry Lyanna’s kid (even though no one can understand his reasoning)? Or a verse where no one dies (but the Mad King I never remember the name of) and Lyanna Rhaegar Elia is the OT3, and somehow Oberyn and Jon end up together? Maybe they elope? Maybe Jon is kidnapped and Oberyn runs after and people think they’ve eloped even though it definitely wasn’t any eloping going on and Oberyn is exasperated with the entire world (but doesn’t protest cause he wouldn’t be against getting married)?

  • Magnai the Older/Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy XIV)
    • AU – the WoL grew up with Magnai. Chaos ensues when they go back to the Azim Steppe.
    • Magnai falling in love less than gracefully, with lots of stammering and floundering and making a fool out of himself.
    • Magnai decides to court the WoL. It goes… well. It goes.
  • Midgardsormr/Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy XIV)
    • The WoL goes back in time to fix the whole dragon/ishgard war thing and accidentally seduces a dragon. Whoops?
    • Midgardsormr shapeshifts for ”reasons” and WoL has a Oh No He’s Hot moment. Then things escalate.
    • After the WoL saves the planet they ascend to some kind of godhood and find themselves not having a place among mortals. Then Midgarsormr comes for them.
  • Warrior of Light/Thancred Waters (FFXIV)
    • The WoL is suave AF and there are Consequences.
    • Thancred falling in love less than gracefully, with lots of stammering and floundering and making a fool out of himself.
    • WoL accidentally travels back in time to when they were young, and child WoL stumbles upon child Thancred.
  • Warrior of Light/Conrad Kemp (FFXIV)
    • The WoL gets stranded in the past – meets Conrad – whoops he’s hot.
    • The WoL is kinda actually very old (they’ve been sorta timetravelling secretly/accidentally since forever), so hooking it up with Conrad doesn’t faze them. Everyone else is a little weirded out when the WoL starts flirting with Conrad though (Conrad himself included), but the WoL convinces them all eventually.
    • The WoL is the most shameless person ever and flirts openly with Conrad over the war table (and totally gets some).
  • Sadu Dotharl/Warrior of Light (FFXIV)
    • AU – the WoL grew up with Sadu. Chaos ensues when they go back to the Azim Steppe.
    • Sadu and the WoL finds themselves having a moment mid battle, admiring each other’s skills (and muscles).
    • Five times Sadu wanted to ask the WoL out but instead started a fight and one time she wanted to start a fight but got asked out.
  • Raubahn Aldynn/Warrior of Light (FFXIV)
    • WoL travelling back to the time in the flashback at Raubahn’s childhood home.
    • There is a new recruit showing skill in the practice hall and Raubahn is intrigued.
    • The WoL has a carefully crafted plan detailing how they’re going to seduce Raubahn into their bed. Nothing goes according to plan, but Raubahn finds himself charmed anyway.
  • Midgardsormr & Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy XIV)
    • The WoL is an entity unlike all others. Midgardsormr knows this and guides them as best he can, through both space and time.
    • The WoL travels uncontrollably through time – Midgardsormr is the only constant thing (which is convenient as he’s super old and has been around since forever). Outside POV would be AMAZEBALLS.
    • The WoL is one of Midgardsormr’s dead children reborn.
  • Warrior of Light/Estinien Wyrmblood (FFXIV)

For prompts, maybe show me Estinien falling in love less than gracefully, floundering, stammering, making a fool out of himself and being mortified and subtly ribbed by his friends? Or a fic where he is so impressed and falls in love with the WoL almost despite himself, she’s so tiny but she’s incredibly strong how does that work? Maybe show Estinien bench-pressing the WoL bc of reasons? Or maybe they’re arm-wrestling? Or Estinien is with his elf associates, and then the WoL comes and beats the crap out of all of them? Or maybe a fic where the WoL goes about seducing Estinien, how does that work? Does he blush? Stammer? Flirt back right away? Maybe Estinien seems suave, but is in fact, a very not suave virgin? Maybe write them fighting an opponent together, working seamlessly as a single unit, utterly decimating their opposition?

This would be hilarious, and cute, and hot, and I love them. Maybe write Rosa arresting Brian who flirts with her without shame? Maybe Jake gets the biggest man-crush on him, because he thinks Brian is so cool, and Amy and Rosa just look at each other because men are weird? Or maybe buddy cop? Maybe they went to the academy together? Maybe Rosa goes undercover into the racing scene?

    • Highschool AU: are they dating/enemies/secretly aliens in bad disguise? No one at High School TM knows, but sure do they speculate.
    • Just like Amy and Jake had a bet in season one, Brian and Rosa has a bet now. Jake/Amy are loving it.
    • They work on a case together, makes some bedroom eyes, catches a murderer, and terrifies everyone. Brian might try to impress Rosa with his driving skills but Rosa upstages him beautifully.
  • Harry Potter (HP)/Arthur Dayne (ASoIaF)
    • Harry is a foreign princess/prince, queue disney action with Arthur being the hero doing the saving (that Harry didn’t really need).
    • Harry is a dragon? And decides that Arthur is the shiniest knight and he wants to keep him. Arthur is confused. (Especially when the dragon turns into a pale black-haired man, wtf.)
    • Harry is Lyanna AU but he falls in love with Arthur instead, whoops.

I just want Brian to be happy and not sad. If you want to write something explicit, I mean, all of these people love competency, and cars, and muscles, so yeah. There’s that. Write what pleases.

They’re so cute and I love them. Maybe a fic where Han goes about seducing Brian? Would he be suave? Would he be the very opposite of suave? Would he try and woo him with cars? Or maybe Brian is the one crushing and being super obvious about it and people tease him? Maybe in an AU verse they meet differently, earlier, later, through someone not Dom? Maybe Brian is still a cop, and Han is still who he is, and Brian just goes undercover in a different place? Maybe they knew each other as kids? Maybe they just decided, after all the shit have gone down in whichever movie, to buy a house somewhere, meant like a safe house, and they just end up settling in? Maybe they have an old couple as neighbours, who think they’re married from the start? Maybe their neighbours knows they’re not together and so starts matchmaking?

My OT3 for the series, I wanted them to stay together always and I definitely cried when Brian left. So yeah, if you’d give me the verse where Brian stays I’d love you forever. Or maybe a fic where Suki schemes and sets them all up? Or maybe it’s Suki’s girls that schemes and sets them all up? Maybe a fic of firsts? Maybe moving in together? Maybe have them take over the entire racing scene, with adrenaline and heart in throat and cops after them? Or maybe something soft, ordinary, working on a broken engine together, eating dinner, watching a show on TV? Or give me Dom coming looking, some years down the road, when he heard about a blond man who flew down the road like Icarus only he didn’t burn, and doesn’t find what he expected, but maybe something better? I dunno. I want all the things.

    • Five times Brian tried to seduce Tej and failed and one time he gave up but succeeded.

    • Five times Brian tried to impress Suki but failed and one time he succeeded by accident.
    • Suki’s friends sets them up.
    • Suki isn’t very impressed with Dom when he comes back into Brian’s life, she decides to make her place and opinion known. Brian is flustered but pleased.

I’ve only ever read the original seven books (haven’t even watched a movie hand on my heart) and as such I’m not very interested in other canon material. But yeah, I love accidentally jock Harry, who’s really kind of very dense and suspicious but a softie at heart.

    • Harry shapeshifts into a dragon (accident!) and only a true love’s kiss can turn him back.
    • AU! Harry as a very eccentric/sort-of-hermit expert on insert what you think fitting gets hired to do a job at the dragon sanctuary Charlie works at. Charlie is his guide, they strike up a friendship, then something more.
    • As far as the students are concerned, Defence teacher Harry is definitely dating Car of Magical Creatures teacher Charlie.
  • Fleur Delacour/Harry Potter/Bill Weasley (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • After the war, Harry comes and stays in the cottage. He doesn’t leave.
    • Married couple Fleur and Bill finds themselves charmed by Harry, decides to seduce him. Succeeds quite spectacularly.
    • Babysitter/pre-school-teacher Harry gets informed by the very precocious Victoire Weasley that her parents think he’s cute and he should definitely come over for dinner sometime.
  • Fleur Delacour/Harry Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • Harry asks Fleur to go to the Yule Ball with him. For some reason she accepts.
    • After the tournament is concluded Fleur and Harry find themselves being pen pals. They never stop.
    • Gabrielle sets them up on a blind date.
  • Fleur Delacour/Cedric Diggory/Viktor Krum/Harry Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • 10 years after the tournament they meet up at a bar.
    • Things happen and somehow mid tournament the four champions find themselves stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere, unable to apparate or travel by any other magical means.
    • Five times their relationship was hard and one time it was so very very easy.
  • Cedric Diggory/Harry Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • Time loop AU – Harry must save Cedric from dying.
    • No Voldemort/War AU – Harry has a crush on the prettiest Hufflepuff.
    • Five times Cedric tried to ask Harry out and Harry misunderstood and one time Harry asked Cedric out.
  • Viktor Krum/Harry Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • Pen pals! Maybe Hogwarts and the other schools set up an exchange program where the students write to each other?
    • A study in misunderstandings – or five times that the language/culture barrier made for some weird situations/misunderstandings and one time there was no misunderstanding at all.
    • Flirting by trying to upstage each other – or how two men continuously puts their life in danger in order to look hot and awesome.
  • Harry Potter/Blaise Zabini (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • Blaise figuring the best way to spite Draco is to date Harry Potter, and decides to do that simply because Draco is getting on his last nerve. Only oh no, feelings.
    • Stuck in an enclosed space! Kisses! Reluctant feelings!
    • Harry is ridiculously powerful (both magically and politically) and pretty. Blaise is also (almost as) ridiculously powerful (both magically and politically) and very pretty (if he does say so himself). They should definitely get married and take over the world, Blaise thinks.
  • Harry Potter/George Weasley (Harry Potter - Rowling))
    • Five times Fred tried to set them up but failed and one time they set themselves up by accident (probably ruining all Fred’s hard work in the process).
    • Post war they keep inviting the other to come over for tea (or other beverages). Along the line feelings develop.
    • George steadily and surely coming to the realisation that he’s kind of in love with his kid brother’s best friend and not really knowing what to do with that. (Harry doesn’t either).
  • Luna Lovegood/Harry Potter (Harry Potter - Rowling)
    • Harry doesn’t know what to do after the war and decides to follow Luna along on her expeditions to discover weird maybe non-existent magical creatures.
    • Harry asks Luna to the Yule Ball. Or the other way around, I guess.
    • Luna becomes a writer for the Quibbler – her speciality is weird stories about Harry Potter that are (definitely) probably not true, but deeply hilarious either way. Harry loves it.
